Care of Beeswax Candles

Take Care

If stored over time, particularly at cool temperatures, beeswax will develop "bloom", a light powdery coating. Some prefer this look, but if not, simply rub the candle with your warm hand, a soft cloth or even a blow dryer at a low setting to remove it. Store out of sunlight and separate colors to prevent color transfer.

Burning and Safety Tips

Each candle is made with the appropriate length wick for initial lighting. Before relighting, trim wicks to 1/4 inch. To achieve maximum burning time and the least amount of dripping we suggest burning 2-3 hours at a time, then allowing to cool before relighting. Always burncandles on a fireproof surface. Do not leave candles unattanded. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
